I've been the Writing Group Leader of the Maitland Writers Group for about three years. We meet on the third Friday of each month in the offices of Wise Owl Tutoring. (Directions below)  Follow us at FWAMaitland.blogspot.com.

We have an invited speaker at most meetings, although we add variety by sometimes writing to a prompt and sometimes inviting attendees to read to the group for critique.

From Maitland/Casselberry, go south on SR 436 one traffic light past Howell Branch Road. Turn right onto Winter Woods Blvd.  From Orlando/Winter Park, go north on SR 436 two traffic lights past Aloma Ave. Turn left onto Winter Woods Blvd.

Once on Winter Woods, you'll see apartments on the right, office buildings on the left. Our office is at the end of the second building.
